We all have those moments where we conveniently “forget” the fact that bad food, simply put, makes us feel bad. Oh yeah, and it makes us fat! So why do we continue to eat it? Because cravings hit, and they hit hard. For some folks, they hit more often than others.
We know how terrible we will feel, both physically and mentally, after eating junk, but we push that thought out of our mind and dig in. But, if you have an inner Drill Sergeant like I do, you may find it difficult to push those thoughts out. And, your inner Drill Sergeant will push you to do things like this…
Plus, if you have changed your diet for better health and weight loss, you often become an inspiration to others. This is a good thing for those people, but it’s also a good thing for YOU. If you are inspiring others, it also keeps you in line!
So, create your inner Drill Sergeant today and go inspire! It will be a win-win situation.

I’m so sick of what the not so good foods are for us. It seems that if it’s cooked you’re saying it’s not good. Aren’t vegetarians eating a good food? I just ate a piece of chicken. and I had my tomatoes and mozarella balls and parsley and olive oil and lemon. i didn’t think I did horrible but it I was suggested not to go cold turkey either when you have made a commitment to change your eating habits. I know I have as I invested in a Vitamix and an Omega so I’m making steps. Now the drill sargent wants to make get on the floor and do 20.
Cheryl, I never said that cooked foods are “not good for us.” The foods I mentioned in my video are not good for me personally, as gluten and high-sodium foods make me feel ill after I eat them. What works for me may not work for others. I agree that taking baby steps are the right way to go. I have never recommended anyone go “cold turkey” as that tends to be a recipe for failure. As for your question “Aren’t vegetarians eating a good food?” That highly depends on what they’re eating. Vegetarians and even Vegans can eat a horrible diet, full of sodium, sugar and the wrong kinds of fat. The key is to get as many live foods as you can, in the form of greens, veggies and fruit. Raw nuts, beans and seeds are great too. But take your time in changing your diet. That way, it will be a lasting change and will not shock your system.
Thank you:) I totally understand.
Hey Rebecca, I am on day 4, but I have a wedding in a couple weeks, how do I handle the dinner explaining to others why I am not eating?? Thanks for the advice
Hi Katya, to avoid any unpleasant conversation from folks who may not understand, I would say “I am on a full-body cleanse” or something of that sort. I would not say, “I’m on a Juice Fast.” Most people will immediately think you’re doing something unhealthy and try to give you advice or “warnings” even though they probably know very little about it. I hope that helps
Rebecca, I am on day 7 of my “juice feast” and I am having some problems with heartburn. Before starting the plan I have a pretty good diet, eat mostly vegan and have juiced and blended for years. I very rarely get heartburn but the last 36 hours have been pretty bad. Any ideas?
Great video. You are an everyday inspiration for me and so many others as well. Thank you!!
